If you were to pack a bag so that you could quickly take it and leave in an emergency situation, what would you pack that bag with?
Assume it can be 1 full sized suitcase and 1 backpack, optionally you can also include a carry on bag, but try to fit everything in the suitcase and backpack. You will be traveling to Europe, Asia, or South/Central America, but you haven't decided where yet, so pack flexibly for weather. You will be carrying a laptop in the backpack and working from coworking spaces during the day.
Assume a maximum of 3 month long travels before being able to return home to swap out the contents of the bags. Casual clothes will suffice with a few collared dress shirts for potential business meetings.
You will not bring any subscription medication, only over the counter medications for things like allergies, anti-diarrhea, general pain/headache medicine. De-prioritize OTC medications you can easily get at a local pharmacy without a prescription. All things like toothpaste, shampoo, soap, etc will be travel size.
A portable wireless keyboard and mouse will accompany you, as long as the requisite cables and port expansion adapters to plug accessories like USB sticks, HDMI cables, SD cards, etc, into. Laundry will be easily accessible.
Prepare for all possible weather and be able to buy anything climate specific if and when needed. For footwear, you will travel in sneakers and possibly carry hiking boots. You will have your passport and drivers license, as well as multiple credit and debit cards. You'll have a VPN and wall plug adapters for every continent and USB ports in 1 device. A few paperback books are an option. You'll bring a Chromecast for watching videos and Netflix as well.
Create a packing list based on the constraints I have provided.
